Aerosoul3
HipHop is one of the world’s most prolific creative cultures. The first key element of HipHop is Spray Can Art (Writing). Stylized Calligraphy also known as Urban Hieroglyphics has brought a new dynamic art form onto the world scene through color, design, fancy lettering and a host of HipHop mascots. This summer we commemorate the legacy of the Art with some of the legendary pioneers of the movement. Aerosoul3 brings you the 1970’s and 80’s Subway legends Chain3, Skeme, Slave, Shame125 and Sak. These Style masters blazed the NYC subway lines with some of the most dynamic Art of the Golden era of the genre. Known for their work on 1,2,3,4,5 and 6 Subway line, these HipHop legends have inspired generations around the world for the past 40 years. The exhibit titled AeroSoul 3 is rare treat for the Bay Area public, a show not to be missed by Art enthusiast and HipHop lovers alike. Joining this cast will also be the worlds contemporary Style masters Mode2(France), Toons1(Germany), Mad(Texas) and Oakland’s very own Refa1 bringing you the Top Shelf in Spray Can Art culture. Come out and Experience the work and meet cultural icons from the classic film “Style Wars” Friday July 14th at the Flyest Art Lounge in Oakland, ERA.
