ERA Art Bar and Lounge is located at 19 Grand Avenue @ Brodway, in the heart of Oakland’s Uptown District. ERA is a 5,000 square foot space designed to bring together art, hand-crafted artisan cocktails, locally produce small production wine and unique and diverse music.

ERA curators bring together bi-monthly collections of modern and contemporary art. With a strong focus in painting and sculpture, architecture and design, and media arts, ERA strives to present recent works that reflect a variety of artistic developments occurring regionally, nationally, and around the world.

Cocktails at ERA are created with an upmost respect for the Art of Fine Cocktails. These cocktails are crafted using locally grown organic fruits and herbs, house made syrups and bitters, and the  finest spirits. ERA’s talented bar staff presents cocktails with a focus on complete service. Wein served at ERA are selected from small bay area wineries that focus on small production, handcrafted wines.

ERA’s space is divide into two comfortable lounges. The downstairs offers twenty foot vaulted, hand plastered ceilings, two off-set seating areas and a 35 foot steal and concrete bar. The upstairs mezzanine features vintage leather seating, antique and modern designed furniture pieces, reclaimed 1920’s hardwood flooring, hand blown glass chandeliers and a private 12 foot bar.

ERA’s state of the art sound system will enable some of the bay area’s most acclaimed musician and djs to bring their every changing art to Oakland. The partners behind ERA are focused on creating one of Oakland’s featured venues of art and entertainment.

ERA strives to become a contributing member to the community, both to it’s patrons and beyond it’s doors to the greater Oakland community. AKG partners add ERA to their already established Oakland based hospitality, art and entertainment venues they have created over the last six years.
